Remo Stars Ladies Shine in ProStar NWFAwards for February<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remo Stars Ladies coach, Matthew Showemimo, and star forward, Bolaji Olamide, have been recognised for their outstanding performances in February by winning the Naija Women Football Awards NWFAwards.\n<\/p>\n

Showemimo secured the Coach of the Month award after guiding his team to four consecutive victories, scoring<\/a> 12 goals and conceding just one. His tactical excellence led Remo Stars to the top of Group B in the Nigeria Women Football League NWFL Premiership, remaining unbeaten after the first half of the season. He won the award with 55% of the total votes, beating Tosan Blankson of Rivers Angels 25.25%, Aduku Moses of Edo Queens 12%, and Ogbonda Whyte of Bayelsa Queens 7.25%.\n<\/p>\n

Striker Bolaji Olamide continued her dominant form, claiming the Player of the Month award with 35.55% of the votes. She edged out teammate Bashiru Kafayat 28.6%, Mary Lucky of Abia Angels 12%, Emem Peace Essien of Edo Queens 11.25%, and Moses Mary of Rivers Angels 4.85%. Olamide has been in sensational form, scoring<\/a> in every match this season and leading the NWFL Premiership’s goal chart with nine goals.\n<\/p>\n

The awards ceremony is set to take place in Ikenne after the league resumes for its second phase on 19 March 2025. The winners will receive plaques, cash prizes, ProStar<\/a> balls, tracksuits for the coach, and a special shirt for the player.
