The 20 year old midfielder, born in Ghana, revealed that he can represent either Ghana or Nigeria at the international level as he has yet to be capped by either country.

In an interview, Agyekum expressed his love for both Ghana and Nigeria, stating, I have love for both countries and want to see them do well. While he follows both national teams closely, Agyekum is open to the possibility of playing for Nigeria, should the opportunity arise.
